This is a a reference thread that is a beginning for any new or users who want to understand the technical nature of some areas of Cannabis that are often discussed both in this theories forum and on the system as a whole, these links will let you enter the debate fully armed with all the data. Replies should be kept to a brief description of the article and the link, we can open new threads to discuss, as is the situation currently. I dont plan to heavily moderate the thread, providing there is a working non-commercial link it can stay, I wont be making content or quality judgements about whats posted besides the fact that they ust be theoretical in nature and not belong in other forums on hc.com. Alternate or experimental theories are to be encouraged... Perhaps it can act as a base so when/if people imbibe the good herb and go off on tangents as we all do , there is a base to touch down on in case of dispute. As I said this wont be an official system thread but more of a store of links thats allways at the top. All Im suggesting is its link based, posts requesting research to be posted are fine but general discussion will be deleted as to keep the thread easily searchable using the 'find' function in your browser. The Chemical Ecology of Cannabis, it deals with the issue of terpene production and potency, Ultra Violet Light, morphism and spectrm/environmental effects. It is well referenced and published and makes for an illuminating read .Here is the link Chemical Ecology of Cannabis. peace, OzGrowa

![]() | Allow me to start with NPKaye's Nutrient Deficiency Table. A good chart of symptoms and probable nutrient-deficiencies that can cause them. (Yes I know it's not a technical or theory reference, but it's a solid link for practical use. Most of these will be that.) Even though it's actually a list of links on our site I think it would criminal if none of us gave a link to Uncle Ben's Link-O-Rama. (Scroll down, it's the third post in this thread.) Here are a pair of links about SCROG. I credit BD with these, since he's the one who pointed me at them first, but they are classics in SCROG history and can be found in several places on the web. First we have pH's shelf system, probably the first seminal SCROG work for me. The second link is to SCW's "Fundamentals of growing SCROG under small lights". (another classic for me) I'll quit here for now. But if stuff jumps out I'll swing back and add again. Yo, Oz: Are these sort of informative, but not really scientific reference, links okay? (If not I won't post any more of them.)
