Maybe this is just a stoned thought but here goes.

Graft a coniverous plant (venus fly trap) to your plant right below a bud and feed it crushed Marinol, or some kind of oil mixed with some meat or other plant edible. You would be feeding your plant almost pure THC with an extra bit of nutrients. I work at a gardening store so I have access to tons of free coniverous plants and we graft all kinds of plants together there.

What do ya think?

Actually I havn't smoked for a few days now

What is there not to understand? Grafting is a very useful gardening method. What I'm saying is that I could feed the plants THC to make the buds more potent, there wouldn't be much use for this, but it could make the bud that much more potent. Even if I was just feeding the coniverous plant some regular coniverous plant food it would still make it more healthy. I agree with you guys that it wouldn't serve much purpose but it would still be fun to try, and it WOULD be helping the plant.

well.... I admit i would like to see a plant with a fly trap on it, heh heh, but still... if you feed it THC, do we know that the plant can take this in? also... will it remain THC? it would be easier just to sprinkle THC on yer buds.....

Peace

I'm gunna try it out this year...green plants (as opposed to cactus or trees) are ok at accepting grafts. Where I work we graft all kinds of cactus together, I've grafted 5 different species together. If is works I will take a pic and post it for you guys...I'm also planning on snipping a branch off one of my plants and grafting it to a taller plant, just to try it out.

I've heard of plants in Japan that sit dormant gathering nutes for 20 years and then in 2 weeks can climb from 4ft. to 30ft. I would like to graft a branch to one of these and see if the buds also grow as rapidly

I dream of 30ft. buds that bite me when I try to smoke them

If anybody else has had any experience with grafting cannibis, or wants to suggest a theory post it here.

This has gotten OT but where else would I put this?

Ok, 1 question:
1) Where are you gonna get concentrated THC from?

Dude I want some of your smoke!!

For my first test I'm going to use 1 part hash/honey oil to 1 part hamburger meat or skimmed fat.

I could also try snipping off specific parts of other buds to feed it. Does anybody know if there is a part on the bud that is more concentrated than the rest? (pistil, small leaves)

Marinol would probably be very hard to get a hold of...If anybody who reads this takes Marinol they should spare a few to try this out. Does anybody here know the THC content in Marinol?

This would also be a good way to get very precise amounts of some chemicals into your plant, such as gibberellic acid or estrogen.

I don't see how feeding THC to your plant will multiply it any. This IS your idea right?? Let's say hypothetically that a plant could take in THC and store it. All you would be doing is storing it in a new location. Why not just use it in it's current state?? It seems to me that even if your idea worked.. which I don't think it would, you are just postponing the use of any THC you had on hand. Peace,

HG

Yeah, admit it...feeding it THC probably accomplish much, but think some of my other theories here could be put to some use. You could feed it anything you want, and you know that almost 100% of what you fed it was going straight into the plant.

Here is another thoery of mine on grafting:

Plant 9 plants in 3X3 rows, and graft them all together, they would all act as one organism, if one plant was to get sick, the rest of the plants would help out the sick one. Perhaps 9 plants growing as one organism would have some other strange effects.

Here is a theory I call "The Titanic Project"

Out of 9 plants find the strongest. Put it in the middle of all the others. Now graft every plant to the strong plant and wait a few weeks. When the bonds are secure, start stripping the weaker plants of their branches and graft them to the main plant. After some time you would end up with one massive plant with the root system of 9 plants and a whole bunch of branches. This also probably wouldn't do much but it would be fun to try. You could try this with almost any number of plants.

I know that most states have tougher penalties if more plants are seized. I wonder if you could claim that you only had one plant with these methods...It would make for a nice arguement.
