I was thinking about like how with lego and dacta kits that you could hook up to your computer you could probly set up a computer controled hydroponics setup.

Yeah man just imagine the nuggs that could be produced if all of America's know how was applied to the problem of growing the sweetest biggest dankest nuggs possible. You'd have greenhouses with supplemental lighting some super supped up hydo system and maximum co2 enrichment. You could probably smell it for miles.

random Q - wouldn't the only reason to vent a co2 crop be temp control? what if they had a a/c in the room ? [assuming a controled environment] couldn't the room stay sealed?

somthing like a big terrarium ..

Iam, that is a very interesting concept - and is very feasible(sp). There is a company, X10, that sells home automation equipment including programs for computers... I'm sure these could be used to control a hydro setup... power, timing, etc...

When I move out into my own apartment i am so going to try that but The only reason you would want to use it would be if your gone like on a long vacation I mean everything else you could do yourself!?!?
