i do not see why it cant be possible
allowing time to heal before being put into flower and as tomato potato and marijuana are in the same family why ever not, if the dutch can put thc in daffodils. wit a bit of patience i can see half a dozen different colas on the same plant hmmmmm interesting.

I gather the closest "cousin" to pot, is "hops".
I am no scientist, but this is what I have always understood to be the case.

The closest living relative to Marijuana is the stinging Nettle, but I wouldn't suggest growing those things, unless you have a stingy fetish.

The Genus and Species for Marijuana is Cannibus Sativa/Indica (or nowadays a horticultural mix thereof). There is another species in the cannibus genus, but it is viny and isn't really a good candidate for grafting.

As stated above, Hops is very closely related (kinda cool since you need that for beer), however I am not sure how well it would do as a root stock. I would guess (though this is just my opinion) that as long as you line up the phloem and xylem elements, you should be able to pull off a graft.

Just out of curiousity, why do you ask? Sounds like you have a plan coming together, and I would like to hear it.
