| Hillbilly, Never have heard about the asprin boost technique. Sounds interesting but would be willing to wager a small amount that this is not possible without the presence of a male. (viable seeds that is) I have seen stranger things though ![]() [This message has been edited by Mr Monster (edited September 29, 2000).] | ||

![]() | Howdy all! I don't stop by here much anymore, so I don't know if this has been covered somewhere else. I read that crushing one 325mg aspirin and adding it to 1/2 gallon of water, dissolving it, and adding it to the soil of a budding female could induce seed production. Does this produce sterile seeds, or viable? If the female is stressed to produce seeds without a male influence, could the seeds be dominantly female? If this method is effective, it would be very productive to induce seeding in clones to forever have your favorite ladies on hand. ~~hb

![]() | Never heard of this technique but to be honest it doesn't sound very promising. I don't see that seeds could be produced without pollen. If you want to make 100% feminised seeds I understand a way of doing it is treating the female plant with gibberelic acid (I think you need to soak a cloth with solution of it and apply it to bud sites for a while). Anyone got a more definate method for applying GA? This is a hormone, which forces the plant to produce male flowers. Use the pollen from the male flowers to pollinate some bud. You end up with seeds which should be all female (and probably some hermies)

![]() | hey, surely to create any seed that will grow, you would need the flower to be fertilized by a male, without the presense of a male, the flower would just dye. correct me if im wrong! james ![]()
