![]() | my first post....YAY!!! Anyways....heres an idea. How about planting pot by your back porch, but instead of just letting nature give it light, you put a HPS over it? Yellow lights over a back door are quite common, if anyone asked you could say its a bug light. If you had someone over you could just throw it in the garage for a few hours (if its in a pot.) I think this is a pretty good idea, especially if you lived in a not-so-hilly region, with a tall fence and a south facing porch. What do you guys think?

![]() | just so you know, the reason bug lights are yellow is because they DONT attract bugs. Most bugs fly towards the moon, which is white last I checked. bug lights are frosted yellow so that when you go out on your back porch there isnt a few hundred moths on your back light.

![]() | Hello "I.A."...and welcome to HC.COM ![]() What's with the name??!! Anyhoo, mother nature provides the best light in the world, I wouldn't try to change that. Are you saying that you'd use the hps during the night only? If so, I don't see why it would hurt... Can't have too much light ![]() peace, mr g ![]()
