I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this or not, but:

Is there anything i can mix in with the water or soil to make the plants more potent?
I have heard of embalming fluid in the water but that's not a natural chemical
Natural or un-natural, anything would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Nope. The best thing you can do to maximize potency is to grow good genetics in a good environment.

There are ways that you can play with genetics to create mutant plants but they usually only make larger yielders, if anything.

There are also ways to play with the environment that will also almost only make larger yielders.

If you want to improve potency, you need to breed.

Formaldihyde is used to preserve dead bodies. When it makes contact with cells it "fixes" them and preserves them in whatever state they were in when they came in contact with the formaldihyde. Its actually some pretty nasty stuff. Any single cell that it comes in contact with will die and will be much harder to replace than living cells because it will be everything like a living cell without the life. It can do a hell of a job on neurons, which, in a usual death, would be ignored, then pass through the blood stream, and eventually discarded. Neurons that have been "fixed" by formaldihyde would remain having electrical impulses from other neurons and would remain as part of a brain that can't use the neuron for basic computation. If enough neurons get "fixed" (it takes less than you might think), the brain will stop being able to process basic logic.

This is the same type of thing that has happened to those sad people that twitch all the time from doing too much speed or coke. They burnt out the synapses that relay the electricity between the neurons, and therefore, also can't use basic logic.

Weed is still harmless.

Good Growing,
- Scott

If your flowering under only an HPS light, then adding UV-B to your spectrum should increase the potency of most strains.
