![]() ![]() | At Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, they grafted a tomatoe stem on a tobacco plant and the tomatoes had nicotene in them, do you think if you grafted a pepper plant on a Mary Jane plant it would have THC in the tomatoes??? Peacefully Pondering this time, Sell_R

![]() | grafting doesnt work much past the genus level, meaning that unless the plants are of the sam genus or closer, they won't graft well. as for cross breeding, nothing outside of the same genus will cross breed. Many things in the same genus won't even cross breed. I would be very interested to hear about the plants you have "created", as it would seem that unless you are blending horticultural varieties, it is impossible. However, if you have pulled it off, you could be up for a Nobel Award, as that would change the world as we know it. Please tell more and pix if you can, otherwise just a description of methods and results would be great. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've seen trees with kiwis, oranges, apples and grapefruits on them. They were a product of grafting. They sell them through those garden magazines you get in the mail so I'm sure they are legit. peace -LFD

![]() | Oranges, lemons, grapefruit, and others are great for that. There are abunch of grafting tricks, but keeo in mind that there is a big difference between woody plants and herbaceous plants like MJ. ![]()
