![]() | Just a question, but I have heard many years ago about people putting an electrical current through the water in their hydro systems, hoping to increase the nutrient uptake by the roots. It's gimmicky, and probably more trouble than it is worth, but I was curious if anyone had tried it. It comes up because a friend recently hooked his hydro up that way, and his plants are skyrocketing! We plan to do a legitimate controlled experiment, so I will let you know, but if anyone has done this, I woudl like to know about it.

![]() | Yo Bgetting Hmmm electrical discharge when it rains outside the impact of the rain causes a discharge of lecky minute as it is it is still a discharge so could this be chi or quantum energy.? I read a experiment a while ago usin a couple of containers some tubing and water by crossing the paths of the 2 flows of water 7000 volts were created no amps luckly enough. and there is a system soon to be realeased that combines these parameters that grows skyrockets very fast. keep on tokinQHC

![]() | That is cool. I was reading up about it, and found some experiments froma long time ago. They claim (althought they didn't really prover their claims) that electricity would help the roots get to the ions and/or direct the ions to the roots. One thing that I saw in their experiment, which I never thought of (and they didn't report on it) was that all the anions went to one end of the tub, and all the cations went to the other end. Much like electrophoresis. I think that ths would be bad, but I don't know. My buddy trying it freaked when I brought it up, and disconnected it. He agreed, and won't put it back on so we can find out. Oh well. If anyone tries it, I would be interested in hearing about it.
