could u use fire as a light source?

i have been thinking about it when i was high, and came to the conclusion its plausible.

any thoughts?

I can see a few problems with that...

1. how are you going to get the fire above the plants shining down?

2. unless you figure a way to burn things that give off the right spectrum, it won't work. The spectrum given off by wood is not good. Maybe try some real dangerous substance that burn bluer...

3. I can see heat maybe becoming a problem.
