I saw on ebay some liquid co2 drops you can add to resevoir I was just wondering if anyone had tried this and if it was feesable to use as a co2 suppliment. | ||

What do you mean it wont help? The Co2 in the water would release extra o2 would it not? and plus if your using a Bubbler would the surface disruption not release co2 into the air? I dont know I think we should have more opinions on this.... C420 | ||

Adding c02 to your 02 bubbled water would be a good thing in theory..... It would be the same thing as using seltzer water in your resivoir... I say just buy seltzer water and save yourself a few bucks..... Just a thought... XS

| oh sorry, this is more along the lines of what you mean then Co2 tabs, read about 'em not all that convinced, if you try 'em let us know how u get on Dj <edit> i thought that may help because it's MADE for hydroponics and theres a lot of info about it there

CO2 in solution dissociates in water unlike O2. Simply put it will not help the roots. When CO2 mixes with water a percentage splits and you no longer have CO2 or O2, but an ion or molecule of some sort. Either way it will not benefit your roots and be a waste. Soda water is just CO2 added to water to carbonate, this drops the pH sharply. Don't know if this help any. Later  Gettin sleepy now
