Did some transplanting yesterday.

They were getting a bit rootbound-the lower leaves were looking a bit 'ickey' (I know it's a very technical term).

The pots are actually about 1 gal hempy buckets-duct tape is such a valuable tool.

In any case, I am hoping they go to alt nodes soon (only A-4 has shown so far, far ahead of the others).

I may be cloning some of these soon.

Cool stuff, just went over the links and most of the info here. Wish I had the room to try this stuff.

just wanted to give an update. I know if xyz and I coordinate dual experiments w/ the colchicine alot of people are going to want to know about it.

For some reason, there is a bit of a waiting list to get this stuff (i am ordering jasmonic acid as well to look into trichome production) so im not going to see any for about a month. This is fine with me, because i want to do this as "by the book" as possible. I will have over 100 seeds to play with (thank you very much breeding forum) all of which will be the strain "Spice" by Mr Nice.

So, since i dont want to keep anyone in the dark, expect to see a journaled experiment on colchicine within the next 4-6 weeks. Shortly after ill be doing one with jasmonic acid. So, barring some unfortunate circumstance, i think it will be quite a summer.

xyz - shoot me a pm when you get a chance!

Well finally some action-most of the plants are showing alt nodes (or at least the ones I really like).

In any case I took a clone from each one. I didn't kid around, I took the top of each one.

They are in rapid rooter plugs, a bit of rooting powder and hempy cups.

Gave them a misting and under the dome they go.

note: As I understand the current thinking these clones will be smokeable.

I will be going to 12/12 as soon as I get my room light-tight, day or so.

Well so far I have 3 males for sure. There may be another one or two on the way.

All three are Indica. Pics in order are a-4, a-1, 3-3.

A-4 is the plant that has 3 nodes in early veg. I was hoping it was going to be a female.

Since the pollen donor displayed 4 branches per node I am wondering if this trait may be sex-linked.
In other words, maybe males tend to have this trait more than females. That would fit the 'tallness' trait along with the 'earlier flowering' that males show that lead to better pollen distribution in the great outdoors.

Anyone seen anything on males showing multiple branching more often than females?

This is my favorite so far.
I have no idea if the colchicine worked or not-don't care-this plant looks good.

Went to 12/12 the 2nd day of spring, about 25 days.

Already has good tric production with about 1/3 to 1/2 cloudy.
(you can see the cliped leaf I used to check in the last pic. It's at 11:30 high)
It isn't leggy at all and the bud sites are clumping very well.
Branching off the main stem was very good.

I will be growing out the clone from this one.

(hey, where is my sig??)

Thanks OD.

I have given up on any reportable results from Colchicine treatment.
Don't know if it worked on anything or not.
I doubt it.

Just finishing up tracking these plants in preparation for the real test with fresh pills.
