OK, I'll bite; how is 3 leaves/node an indicator of polyploidism ?
(I am not a biologist, I understand the determination is done with a microscope looking at the cellular structure.)

That's trifoliar growth, not a polyploid. I've seen plants exibit trifoliar growth without any abnormal treatments, and just because the colchicine didnt make them trifoliar does not mean it has not taken effect. Deppending on what genes are effected, polyploids will show different traits, or show nothing visual at all.

Those of you following along will remember the pic of the dad for these seeds. It had 4 nodes.

I want to breed for that trait in any case as it will be kind of cool for scrog apps.

I think I am going to thin out the seedlings to maybe 1-2 per cup.
I will most likely pull out the ones that most closly resemble the control group.

BTW-I will not be doing seeds directly into hempy cups without a RW cube again. There is just no support when I water them. They flop all over.

I did some thinning.

pic 1 is the Sativa
pic 2 is the 'A' Indica
pic 3 is the '3' Indica with the control group in the back/right

I am not seeing any of the seedlings showing the '4 branch per node' trait I have in the dad.

Try applying more colchocine on them.

Or atleast half of the experiment plants.

That would be interesting because I heard that would work as well as germinating them with it.

And uh I have a tip for removing the chemical from your bud if it is going to grow uber sweet.

"As we all know, THC is not water soluble.

The evil chemical Colchicine (which is supposed to create super bud) IS.

What if the bud was water cured for a good period of time? Wouldn't the chemical be removed?" - Kizm0 (brilliant)

These are shots of the Sativa.
They are the tallest and most well developed of all the seedlings.
