![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | So far 2 out of 4 fem. purple power seeds have turned male. Not hermie, totaly male with only male sex organs. Please believe me i know enough to tell the difference by now. I also found on a certain seed shops site it says this strain needs 80 days of veg time... So this makes me believe that they are turning male because I am flowering them too early... First was flowered at like 20ish days and the 2nd at like 35ish days... I have two more still in veg, but they are getting big! what does everyone think?

![]() ![]() | Femenized seed is as big a scam as scented toilet paper. They sold you some bunk seeds from some seedy ass plants and cashed in on it. Its not your fault other than being played by rip off artist. Veg time has nothing to do with the plants turning male. (note server time messed up and many hours later put this post on top of the one below.)

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | In my limited experience and reading, switching from veg to flower doesn't cause a plant to be male or hermie. Sometimes it's specific stress on a plant at some stage of germing or veg that can cause a tendency to male-ness, but switching before the recommended time isn't one of them. If you want to check your plants without going to flower, take clones and put them in 12/12 right away. The sex they show should hold true for the mother plants. I think you've just rolled craps twice in a row. It happens. Keep rolling and keep growing!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Im with Lollie, contact the supplier. 8 weeks indoor veging is really a long time. Maybe they were meant for outdoor growing. But that still doesn't matter, because Im sure everyone at some point in time has switched to 12/12 very early(even started seeds in 12/12) A speculation: Since they claimed they are feminized seeds, is it possible that they really need to be vegged for 80 days?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have had males grow out of seeds that were supposed to be femenized. I don't think femenized absolutely guarantees females (anybody want to chime in on that?). There's also the question of source. Did your seeds come in the breeders packaging or were they repackaged? BTW, 8 weeks veg is common for me - big, big, yield.
