Hi OzGrowa,

I am in the planning stages for a grow box. I am height-constrained, but I would prefer not to Scrog due to the high maintenance. How much grow space would you estimate I will need for a Master Kush SOG (mostly Indica)? Lighting will be a 250w HPS, grown in hydro.

Hey Bald Eagle, I'd probably suggest no more than 6 square ft (like a 2' by 3'), that should let you keep it over 5000 lumens psf. But for future reference, you'll probably have better luck starting a new thread for your question, with an assumption you've already searched for the answer, of course

Hi Life4me,

Thanks for the suggestion about posting my question directly. I have just posted a couple. By "grow space" I was meaning the amount of grow height I need to accommodate in the cabinet. It will be 2-2.5 sq ft - I am aiming for 7000 lumens / sq ft w/ my 250w HPS flower lamp.

top growing there mate i have had ago at flowering clones straight away myself and i must say that you can pull an 0z to an oz.5 no problem.i pulled about that off these.they were rooted for 2 weeks then put into 12/12 under 400w hps(abit less than you)but were growing in 11ltr pots(alot bigger than yours)so that kinda evens things out abit i guess .some were topped some were not,but i goto say its alot of fun growing this way and this is the way i will be growing for my next journal.
