![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This last one is a shot after 4 and ahalf weeks of flowering, the rootmass has adopted the medium well and the bottom inch or so has a nice healthy rhizo mass. The extra dry rockwool on the top is to prevent flies and other living things from laying larvae and other such pita stuff. These white healthy roots make great eating for a majority of insects but they hate the sharp, dry rockwool floc.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Thats exacly what i wanted to see man thanx. So you dont add any holes to them normal pots ? And the roots dont grow out of the pots at all ? Thats an interesting procedure ![]() Have u ever had any problems with rootbound? Or do the roots kind-of learn that they get watered every cartain amount of time and therefor dont grow to a huge rootmass in search of water? The way u have it makes it alot easier

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Outstanding Oz, Bloody good show ![]() The key to your garden (besides being a kung fu gardener ) obviously lies in your cloneing area. 8" - 9" cutting eh? this is alot bigger than anything I've tried to root, I'm on 2-3" cuttings. Could you give a rundown of your cloning area/routine please, you have alot of mum plants there, how many 8-9" cuttings do you take from each mum, and where do you take them off the mum, do you have some sort of humidity dome/tent or just keep the whole room high RH? do you mist cuttings? how long from cutting to flowering table in an ideal world? Thanks for sharing Oz, must have been a hard decision too, much appriciated mate ![]() San

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hello guys Im pushing 8600 fc over each area, each table has 1200 watts over 12 sqr foot. I havnt had any problems with them being rootbound as they get fed twiice daily, the roots sit in a bath of nutrient so the surface area exposure is ggood, there is also a lot of oxygen in the mixture I use as it dries out during waterings. I use normal fluros and a humidity dome ot take clones, I clean the bottom inch of each clone, dip it in root powder and put it in a rockwool cube, just the oldschool way of cloning, nothing fancy but it gives me roots in around 5 to 7 days. I usually take the cuts and 10 days later they hit the tables, they are from anywhere between 6 and 9 inches in height I have decided after measuring a few, most are 8 inches.

![]() | Oz, Very very nice. Keep the pics comin'. I gave my shiva x esb seeds away, but got a clone going of it back, and so far it's looking good. A little stretch to it, but nothing bad, and it looks like it will yield nicely, for being flowered early. But really love your set-up.
