![]() | I've grown one real crop. Well, my very first one was one bag weed plant under a 4 ft shop light, It was a hermie and I got 1/4 ounce of seedy weed. My next crop I bought ten seeds and a 270 watt hps. I ended up with 2 females and after almost 4 months I got 3.5 ounces of very good bud. I'm reveging the two plants and next crop I'm going to try scrog with their clones.

![]() | I finished my first real effort crop about 2 months ago. I had 3 northern lights and a bag seed sativa. The sativa yielded about 30 grams , 2 of my NL yielded an oz each, and my best NL yielded 60 grams from 4 huge buds! I currently have all NL and white widow, 8 nL and 3 WW. Hope I get the same results!! Later!! P.S. None of this was poosible until I started reading and reading these posts. For any new comers, PLEASE take this advice: Apply what the "senior gardeners" have to say. If you have a little faith, you will have a lot of BUD!!! \ Blizzard of Ozz

Harvested my 1st grow a coupla months ago and with 4 females I ended up with about 5 ounces of dry bud. I'm doin' it different this time around for these reasons: Fert burn...went nuts with the Schultz 10/60/10 during flowering and the leaves got yellow, curled up at the ends and caused the actual "bud meat" to be a little powdery while breaking 'em up. And no...it wasn't because they were too dry. Leaf plucking...I used to think it was the best thing to do to take all the large fan leaves off during veg and flower! What an idiot I was until I started reading up on this! I'm sure my low yield (one plant was over 6' tall) can be attributed to this. Schwag seed...I let a seed slip through that was probably just a viable commersh seed, and was very disappointed with the quality of the high. But, since it was my 1st grow I consider any smokable material a "success", we only learn from our mistakes PooN PS, if anyone's interested in my current grow...see "Pontoon's 2nd grow" in this forum.

![]() | About nine years ago I moved into a share house, the guys living there where keen on growing but knew little in practise-I on the other hand had been growing out doors for years, We had an enclosed garage that was prompltly sealed and an access hole cut into the floor- not for ventilation as I did not consider such things yet. The plants were all from seed and we had males (a learning experience to use cuttings indoors from then on). we grew in flock and whatever else available(dirt, old leaves, newspaper) and hand watered hydro nutes without ppm or ph checks. The idiot I was living with insisted on leaf plucking witch went against all commensence that I was aware of but what can ya do?. So after four months (had to veg longer to get coverage after male removal) yep four months, we had about 6 average looking plants under 4 400w mhs and f-ck was it hot down there with no ventillation! We yeilded about half a pound in all (quite ludicrouse by todays standards with accepted yeild overtime by wattage ratio standards) And did I mention that there was light spilling from every orafice of that garage for the whole 4 months?! F-ckin stupid but a learning experience. Now days iff I dont get over two pound from a kwatter I am not impressed with myself at all so I have progressed undeniably.

![]() | Crop average .486 grams per watt month or 1 lb of clean dried per month. White walls parabolic reflector, Metal halide. Eco Bloom , but thats just guessing for a jr. grower. After the first 100 pounds it boring. Timing by RelayRunner http://y42.briefcase.yahoo.com/relayrunner2000 multi timing of events 3 differnt kinds of ligh seq. for max yeild and saved a week, used less watts.

First crop; 4 years ago. Grew 10 plants outdoors; 5 white widdow and 5 white rihno. Aout of 10; 6 were females, and each plant got about 4' high at the end of flowering. I got a total of 4 ounces off each plant- or, 24 ounces. Like.. 2 pounds correct? Anyways, it lasted me about 3 months- it was awsome..
