![]() | Let me start off by saying thank-you to everyone who makes this bulleting board possible. Much of what I accomplished would not have been possible without the knowledge contained here. My harvest is done. I ended up with 3 females about 2.5-3 feet tall and fairly bushy. My setup was very simple: 250W MH in soil. The room was pretty much covered in Mylar. 18/6 to 12/12 and tapered in the last few weeks of flowering. Ended up with about 2.5 ozs. There are lots of things I would do differently next time. An HPS during flowering is a must. -Cmdrhemp.

Howdy cmdrhemp, It's the best feeling ain't it? 2 1/2 ozs ya didn't have to buy! And you're right about the HPS during flower. I'm using one from start to finish on my 2nd grow and so far, so good! Have ya tried 24 hours of light during veg? I started flowering a little early (29 days of veg) with my 430 Son Agro, for 2 reasons...they grew like chubby bonzais at 24/7 with plenty of side growth...and the light was keepin' me up at night! I have to keep my door open while the lites are on 'cause of heat buildup. Also, from what I've read, tapering down from 12/12 (I presume down to 10-8 hours of light) will decrease yield. They say it's best to wait it out. Keep up the good work, it's now time to enjoy! pOOn

Yep, it is a good feeling. Wonderfully fresh. I haven't tried 24/7 on them. I wouldn't do this, despite what some prefer. I've heard that 20/4 seems to be the maximum you can go with, without affecting the dark cycle of photosynthesis. In terms of flowering, I kept them on 12/12 for a long time. Eventually they didn't seem to increase in size and the majority had ripened, except the ones at the bottom so I tapered it to ripen the smaller ones up. Good luck to you too.. M.
