Mary Jane First Outdoors Harvest

Hey guys and gals. I had to harvest my 5 plants a bit earlier than I would have liked to due to powdery mold on some of the buds. I wasn't planning on harvesting until October but I started these early indoors on April 15th and they started flowering in August so I think I'll be alright. I looked at the trichromes as best I could under the radio shack microscope and they looked cloudy and some of the pistils are red. I think I could have gotten more yield had they stayed out a bit longer. Anyways here are the pics. Strain: blueberry.

Pre-cut:

Nug-in-hand:

Two of the nicer nugs:

All of it hanging:

I am happy about this harvest...even though a bit early...its by far my biggest yet (I've only done 3 indoor plants before). Had a great time growing this... Anyone care to guess how much it will be dry? I'm thinking ~1/2lb

Congrats on your harvest!

Sorry, but I'm no good at guessing weight - I don't even have a scale.

Haha me neither. One of my buddies does so I'll post back with the final weight.

Also I forgot to say thank you to this community for providing such a great resource. I could never have achieved these results without you.

This is a great site where I keep learning something new every time I visit.

good guess.. I was gona say 4-5 zips... They do look pretty young though.. The red hairs are an example of a readying plant.. Usually you harvest when 90% of the hairs are red - or you have a high ratio of cloudy - low ratio amber - no clear trichs..
Im sure you would have gotten a bigger yield from those if left out.. But daaaaaaaaaaamn them girlies look fyne
Congrats on the harvest man! Betch-yer pretty proud

Can I ask why you didn't just treat the powdery mildew and let them finish?
