well, actually...just one tulip.

this is the second attempt at this post....I had one more picture to paste and there was a clitch...

so here goes. I said I'd 'roll' a tulip when someone mentioned it in the 'inside out joint' thread. a friend gave me a bunch of weed that I'm going to use for cooking and I figured I'd make the tulip with the shit. this is a much less interesting post this time around...I don't have it in me to re-type everything I said. maybe some other time.

what you'll need:
3 papers (4 if they're just regular cigg size papers)
computer paper
twisty tie/hemp string
MJ

lick one paper and stick it to the other, then fold the paper at an angle to just under the gum.


this is the only tricky part. lick the gum and fold it over. you should be able to open it up into a cone now.


cut your paper to the length you wish I do 5 inches, roll it up tight, and then roll that into your other rolling paper(s).


fill your cone with weed, pack it in as even as possible.


put the straw in the middle of the bud and with the same hand your holding the cone in, push the paper against the cone and hold the cone in place. grab your twisty tie or hemp sting and tie the paper tightly to the straw.


fold the excess paper up around the 'tulip bulb' and there you have your tulipy.



when you're going to smoke it, clip the tip. imparitive.

then burn the tip, and pack with your light. repeat that until it's pretty packed. if it burns uneven, it's not packed properly.

I used to roll a joint instead of using printer paper, just roll a J then stick it inside the pocket Nice tutorial.

actually silentsmoke, putting a joint in there works for beans.

I've done it. quite a few times. and first problem, you have to roll the joint very loose so you can create enough airflow. which means no inside out joint...so, no go for me. won't smoke it. too much paper.

on to the next test...a blunt. worked well at first, I thought I'd figured out the fully smokable tulip. second problem...the joint or blunt gets so resinated by the time you get to it that A: you can't even pull through it anymore or B: it tastes like your licking the inside of a bong.

final problem, you can't tie the tulip bulb tight enough to the joint to create a really good seal everytime. I've tryed...a lot. sitting for 9 months in a cast after surgery not allowed to even play video games because my thumb was casted with your wrist to the very last half inch of my thumbnail in a country where weed is legal and I didn't have kids to pay for...I have tryed this countless times.

unless you enjoy smoking resin straight to the head, I don't recommend it.

not trying to step on your toes either mate, just sharing my experience. it is after all a great idea.

My girlfriend thought your tulip was pretty and I admire the artistic value in your posts. That beautiful rolling job topped off with a toke shot and a little bit of your face exposed for mysteriousness.

haha, I must admit, that toke shot was a luck shot. I just snapped the picture and figured I'd edit what I needed to...and it came out just like that. but it does look cool, I like the smoke that rools off the tulip and that you can see my mouth full of smoke as well

i think the person who mentiond it on ur other thread was me looks great , hey why don't u do a thread on how to twist the crazy shit like the trident, the three way and the windmill , you know i'm just saying you have already gone this far..what i found works good to seal it is to use about 2 or 3 gum strips stuck together and you know take that paper and roll it around ur tube and the tulip, this is all just my opinion bra looks great tho

I've done that with the gum strips when a didn't have a twisty tie.

twisty ties work better IMHO, plus a lot less work. not as pretty though.

I could indeed start a crazy joint thread. there's a few of them that'd be pretty cool.
