The initial flowering growth is encouraging with pistils very quick to show themselves while the stretch period is shortlived and manageable. For the next couple of weeks it moves along at a steadily viqourous pace, whilst retaining it's squat stature. The problem arrises after the colas finish forming. If this var' swelled to the same extent as say a decent Sk var' I'd be happy; but it doesn't.It almost seems like the buds finish growing and then the pistils/trichs turn without even giving a second thought to tumescence.Consequently you end up with colas which don't join up properly for more than 5 or 6 inches and buds that are smaller than you'd reasonably expect given their fast initial growth. All the best, dev ![]()

The Kermith looks a right bit of kit, it does look as though it would damage the buds slightly though, thats just me. I can envisage it getting caked in trichs pretty quick, especially with that BH, I expect the tube through to the bag would be cleanable... The Blockhead looks lovely, I see a lot of those foxtail type formations in your pics, do they occur on all strains? Definately looks like quality over quantity there dev Top stuff Xjo ![]()

Fecking brilliant!. I read a post from OzGrowa, mentioning such a machine. I didn't know if he was kidding, or not. Apparently not. $600-$700 is outrageous, but as you say... if your doing a room or two. ![]()

Possibly the best thing about this strain is it's bag appeal.Blockhead has a truly white look when fully dry,it leaves a hashy powder on your fingers when you break it up and the trichs are fat and obvious.A righteous strain for bubble bagging.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The smell of this plant is very strong and unusual. When grown organically I found it expressed almost every variation of citrus possible.Initially it has a very likeable lemon aroma, which moves into a kind of lemon sherbet, through to lemon Flash floor cleaner, that gives way to cat-p!ss and finally coming to rest as a hardcore chemically astringent type smell. If a plant could smell angry then this is the personification of one p!ssed off plant. To be fair though when grown in hydro with chem nutes it moved pretty much straight from lemony to the angry chem smell, largely missing the nuances in between.Shame.Regardless this is certainly no stealth strain. The high is quite strong with a reasonable mix of mind and body.To be fair;the first time I smoked the organic gear it gave me sweaty eyeballs, ripped my head off and sent me to sleep but it seems I've built a tolerance to it since then, either that or the hydro just isn't as good. The high is reasonably long lasting and nice enough but it's definitely not day time gear. Well worth a grow, but unless I found a higher yielder with a much better calyx to leaf ratio it's no keeper.Still as I say there may well be one in a full packet of first quality beans. If I get the time I'll update this with some dry shots. Just m.o, dev ![]() p.s: xjo:the foxtail is a more of a sativa flowering trait and really only applies to those strains or sat dom hybrids. The blockhead as a rule forms quite solid round-ish nugs. The plant in the picture formed what appears to be a foxtail but it's really just a slightly elongated tip through excess heat at the canopy level for a couple of days following the stretch period. This was the only plant to be affected and it was caught early enough so that it wasn't an issue.I took a picture of it purely because it's unusual. The H.H that I photographed last exhibited true, naturally occuring, foxtails. p.p.s : Xjo and clint: Congrats on the modship lads.Well deserved and throughly unsurprising.

![]() | Waht ever happened to trimming with scissors,by hand. There's no better way to get up close and perfect your colas before you hang'em up to dry. Machines are taking over the world, dont let them.LoL. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | why on earth would you want to take such beautiful buds and subject them to the jaws of such a cold and blunt machine? Maybe after i have to manicure an entire room I'll think differently, but it just seems fundamentally wrong. Is the trim so thoroughly destroyed that it's useless for cold water extraction? That would be my only concern. I love hash. ~cb

"Is the trim so thoroughly destroyed that it's useless for cold water extraction?" No but it does make for a slightly greener product,so I'd recommend just the one run. "that is kinda stupid machine it looks like iit would just suck the tricomes off " Roflmao. No comment. Thanks to whoever gave me the k dev ![]()
