I don't mean to be blasphemous, but damn! I just harvested 2 of my high indica strain babies (2 of 4...the other 2 are more sativa and will take a little longer) over the week-end and I'm on top of the world! The wife and I are now gettin' high off buds we grew and they are AWESOME!!! We smoked our first air-dried buds and couldn't believe the kick! So I went out and bought a jewelers loupe and got a close up view and was blown away!!! It was like another world in there with a dusting of trichomes everywhere!
It's just such a nice feeling starting a grow again after so long. Our last grow was about 8 plants all over 6' that were ripped out of our outdoor garden about 4 weeks into flowering! And to top it off...it turned out to be a relative!!! Needless to say, it was a traumatic thing to nurse our babies only to get FU**ING ripped off!!!
So, to all of you who've been reading these posts and thinking about growing I say "Do It"! It's a great feeling having a nice amount of great weed, not to mention not having to pay up the butt from folks who could care less that you're last eighth was just over two grams.

Good morning to all!! Im new to this site & I love looking at the great pic.s. Also its great to be able to talk to others about toking, etc. Been smoking for many, many years but never have grown my own. I AM READY TO TRY!! is there any book that would be helpful; most of the stuff you all talk about is over my head (terminology, etc.). I just want to grow outdoors--have 10 acres of really wild, forest-like land. Lots of privacy. Where do I start since I know its too late now. How long can you hold on to seeds? Do they ever go bad? I am soooo sick of trying to "find some" , I'm tired of waiting till its convenient for other people. Also. love the site about spirituality and smoking. Never have I found anyone I could have an honest discussion with regarding that. Thanks for any help anyone can give! Waiting for Spring in Texas.

My wife and I grew a couple of plants from some seeds that were in a bag of weed that we bought. We just now pulled the first few buds off of them and I can't wait to try them! Thanks to this site, we were able to get all the info we needed!

Wow...I though this thread was dead and buried! hahaha

The 3rd grow is just starting to show sex and I'm pleased to announce I've got some girls!

That 1st grow was more of a learning experience for me...they grew well, but the genetics was sub-par and the smoke was very disappointing! Learned a big lesson...DON'T PLANT SCHWAG!!

Yeah, getting ripped off was a real heartbreaker! But he stayed true-to-form, turned into a tweaker and ended up in prison! Still rotting in there I hope! Thet woulda been some good smoke!
