Question About Watering !!
permalink

OK ive got a little problem.. right now my plants look pretty good however there is one problem the leaves seem to sag. Now i heard this is how u tell when the plant needs water so naturally i watered them but the condition hasn't seemed to change yet.

Ive given each plant enough water until water leaks from the bottom of the pot.

I was wondering how much water you guys give the plant and how often do u water them

buy a simple moisture meature at walmart. You can get a cheap one at walmart for about $5 us. You'll be amazed at the difference proper watering can do.

Little side note.. search the threads for h2o2.. You see that it helps prevent/cure overwatering.. I know it helps cure as for preventing all I can say is I use it religiously and have never had any problems.

I watered my plants every 4-5 days or so, when the soil, from top to bottom was completly dry. MJ plants love that drying time =)

Overwatering is not how much you give it at one watering- overwatering is watering too frequently.
You can't really say how often is enough- plants in hot climates or plants with a huge root system in comparison to the size container might actually need it everyday. Small plants in say a 3 gallon pot might not need but once a week.
A good rule of thumb is to water well (water runs freely out of drainage holes) then wait until the soil dries to a depth of about two knuckles then water again. If you are feeding a water soluble food, this counts as a watering also, so you have to coordinate your schedule.
Butterbean - drooping leaves can mean they need water or they have had too much water. Only you know how often you've been doing it.. daily, every 3 days, weekly??

I notice that you just asked about overdosing on nitrogen in the Nursery- I'll bet your problems are connected.
If that is the case you need to flush.
