| Boiling water kills most living things in it and gets rid of dissolved gases such as chlorine, but it does not make it the equivalent of spring water or distilled water. Minerals that were there before boiling will still be there after so it will not reduce hardness or ppm or change the pH much, if at all. Since there are not generally many microorganisms in tap water, and chlorine, while it's usually not detrimental to plants anyway, will dissipate if the water is allowed to sit out for a day or so, I don't think boiling water for plants would be of much benefit. | ||
